Maintenance Mechanic

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on equipment and systems, ensuring operational efficiency and safety within the facility. This role is critical in maintaining production continuity and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
Perform troubleshooting to identify mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
Utilize preventive maintenance strategies to reduce equipment failures.
Ensure compliance with GMP processes and safety procedures during maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed.
Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to facilitate efficient operations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus.
Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or similar role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance and repair practices.
Understanding of safety procedures in a maintenance environment.
Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.
Proficient in using power tools and diagnostic equipment.
